VACT offer a variety of training opportunities both free and paid aimed at those wanting to start out in the industry through to those looking for professional development and wanting to grow.
Our most popular course is the VA Mastery Course, an in-depth, DIY Virtual Assistant training course, designed with the individual in mind. By the end of the modules, you will have “The VA Knowledge – Your Business Bible” which will act as a resource for you for years to come.
The course itself is delivered through a combination of webinars, worksheets, reading materials, and sample documents, the course is practical, hands-on and comprehensive. The VA Mastery Course covers everything from business strategy, and tools and technology, to client management and marketing, to financial planning and working with associates but starts with business foundations and builds from there.
This course will boost your confidence, develop your business mindset, and empower you with the commercial know-how you need to succeed. It is the equivalent of 120 hours of study.
SVA Comment:
VACT is the original UK VA training course and therefore has the largest number of UK VAs as graduates. It was started by industry legend Carmen MacDougall in 2003 and taken over by Amanda Johnson in 2014, who refined its offering to include more technical elements of marketing and servicing VA clients.
Whilst Amanda is no longer an active VA herself, she makes sure she keeps up to date with all the latest goings on in the VA world. Amanda won Best VA Trainer Award at the PA Assist Members/Virtual Assistant Voice Awards for 3 years in a row.
