Here at SVA, we think virtual assistants should occasionally escape their desk and get out to meet one another face-to-face! There’s power in numbers, and our regional meet ups spark all sort of collaborations, ideas and knowledge sharing.
If you have an event for UK virtual assistants, please email us and we’ll be happy to list it for you free of charge.

The PA Show 2021 (including The VA Conference)

Slightly delayed from their usual March slot, The PA Show 2021 (incorporating the UK VA Conference) is back at ExCel, London on 12-13 May 2021.
As ever, the second day will act as the VA Day, and this year’s day ticket will let you access all the sessions on that day (both VA and PA Show!). Keep an eye on your inbox for an exclusive SVA Members deal. The past few year’s tickets have sold out so make sure you book ASAP when you get the email…

What is The PA Show 2021?
Just as it sounds, it’s a big trade show and conference for PAs, EAs, office managers and admins, with CPD-accredited training sessions from some of the world’s best trainers.
What is the VA Conference?
The PA Show includes the UK’s main VA Conference, which has specific sessions for virtual assistants covering all sorts of topics, speakers, training and networking. Whilst there are regional events across the UK throughout the year, this is the largest collection of VAs all in one place, and usually the UK VA Awards are presented here (although this year, due to Covid, they will be presented online).
Why should I go to the VA Conference?
I always get into trouble for saying this, but, as much as the sessions are really useful to both newbies and established VAs alike, one of the most powerful things about putting a load of VAs in a room together is that they always do one thing: Talk. And, being world-famed for #CollaborationNotCompetition, an amazing thing happens:
- VAs share stories about different clients – it’s great to feel you are with people who just “get it”
- they pass on work to each other
- they look for VAs who offer skills that they don’t have
- they talk about the pros and cons of the software they use
- their buzz infects you – you get reinvigorated in your business
- they share problems and what they’ve done in certain situations…
It’s pretty magical.
