SVA Logo and how to display it!

A timely reminder from Monica of UR Virtual Assistant Services has reminded me I need to give you download instructions for our SVA logos.

SVA is free to join and has a “Community Member” badge which you can display on your website linking back to our site.

To download this, right click “SAVE AS” and save to your desktop.  Alternatively if you prefer to use HTML, this logo can be found at: https://www.societyofvirtualassistants.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/community-member.jpg

You should link this to our main site: https://www.societyofvirtualassistants.co.uk

The “Approved Virtual Assistant” scheme will contact you when you have been a standard community member for 2 months.  Everyone will have the chance to be listed on our main site in a searchable directory free of charge.  You will need to comply with a number of very simple but important rules before being listed.  Clients will be able to find your skill and click through to your own site.

Which badge do you add to your website: the “community member” badge or the “approved virtual assistant” badge?
Where do you place it within the website please?

      Hi Emily

If you are a standard member, use the community member badge here.

Approved members get listed on our FIND A VA page, but we need to see proof of their professionalism before we do that – everyone gets invited to apply once they have been a member for a couple of months.

(We used to have it as an instant thing, but we found too many people were joining just to get listed without contributing anything to the community – which is against the ethos of #CollaborationNotCompetition that SVA was founded on)

Watch your inbox, make sure you are properly set up – secure email, proper website, ICO registration etc. and we’ll be in touch soon!

Added a wee blog post on my website about the page and being a community member. This website has been an incredible source of information. Thank you to all the contributors. 🙂
