Society of Virtual Assistants Newsletter: July 2013

Hello

Last month we asked you what you’d like to see more of at SVA – two things stood out, the first being you wanted to see more techie stuff and the second one being you wanted more industry news… Keep your eyes peeled for more posts on these two important areas!  We’re still on track with our “Marketing Friday” and monthly “Blogspiration” marketing posts, which have been getting a great response!

Office* at Olympia have also issued a little invite to all VAs on their unofficial “VA Day” Wed 9th October – more details below.

SVA Premier: Become A Super VA! SVA Premier

A couple of weeks ago, someone asked me a very thought provoking question which has been niggling my brain ever since… What makes the difference between a VA earning £5k a year and one earning £50k?  What do they do differently? What are they better at?

To be entirely honest, I had no idea.  But I did know how to find out – I was going back to the raw data gathered via the UK VA survey to find out!  I took the people earning what I would call a “replacement salary” (one that would replace a PA salary) of £20k+ and looked at how their results differed from the overall survey.  These “super earners” made up roughly 30% of the survey respondents.

The results have been very illuminating and I wanted to share them with you.

SVA Premier costs £10/month and you get access to this month’s content plus archive materials from previous months. You can cancel any time via Paypal or on the Contact Us page. EDIT: This scheme has been replaced by our instant download course – please see VA PRODUCTS.

Events

If you have an event you’d like listed on The Virtual Assistant Diary – just let me know on email [email protected]! It’s free and we’re happy to list anything which will help VAs in their businesses.

This month: It’s pretty quiet this month – do tell us if you’re organising something fun for the VA industry!
