There have been rumours… But I’m now pleased to announce the launch of “Global VA Week” – a chance for virtual assistants all over the world to come together and make some noise about our industry to a wider audience!
Already working together are:
- OIVAC: Sharon Williams, owner of The 24 Hour Secretary & founder of OIVAC and Alliance for Virtual Businesses, who is organising the Online International Virtual Assistant Convention running from 19th – 21st May.
- UKVAC: Julie Hinge of i2i Virtual-Assistant & Yvonne Bignall of EHO Consultancy at YvonneB Limited & co-founders of UKVA Celebration Event, being held on Monday 16th May.
- VACT: Carmen McDougall, owner of Smart Sec & VACT, who will be running workshops and training sessions during the event.
- And of course: Society of Virtual Assistants, who will be organising UK press, tweet-ups and local regional events on Wednesday 18th May.
How can you get involved?
There will be lots of announcements over the next couple of months regarding the events, but there are some you can register for right now!
Monday 16th May – UK VA Celebration Day in Reading http://www.ukvac.org.uk/

Thursday 19th May – Sat 21st May – OIVAC online events/seminars – early bird booking discounts available http://oivac.com/
On Twitter – we’ll be distributing a list of tweets you can use to publicise the events and bulk upload to your own Twitter account to raise the profile of VAs on Twitter – let’s get that Top Trend #hashtag!
