|
|
Hi there,
Thurs 8th Nov @ 6pm: Pricing
Tonight we'll be tackling the thorny issue of pricing and the best way of keeping track of billing your clients for the work you do.
Our new chatroom has both voice and text chat, along with presentations, website viewing and a recording download of the session.
If you are serious about continuing your professional development as a virtual assistant, these sessions will help you get there without going through a trial and error process.
Or perhaps you are starting out and simply want to know what to charge for a specific job or service?
To join in please email: caroline@societyofvirtualassistants.co.uk
Many thanks,
Caroline |

This one looks like it will be an interesting topic. The last chat was good so this one should be too.
Catch you online at 6pm _________________ Lyndsey Gilchrist

Sorry I couldn't make the chat last night I was busy battling with a printer that wouldn't play ball and totally forgot.
Hope it was good and that I'll get the transcription at some point.

This was a great chat and offered some further advice.
Looking forward to seeing more members on board in the next chat. The new chat room is great as long as you have a microphone you can have your say. There is also a text facility incase you dont have a mic and you can still add your comments/questions.
Looking forward to seeing you all at the next chat on 6th Dec. _________________ Lyndsey Gilchrist

Sorry I missed it. Still trying to sort out Paypal, Lyndsey. Really stupid people. Where can I get a copy of the pricing chat? What's the subject for the next one on 6 Dec? _________________ Carole Meyrick

I had some technical difficulties during the chat last night. Everything seemed fine at first and I could hear people talking but no one could hear me. Then I realised I should have clicked on the icon at the bottom before talking. After that I couldn't hear anything for ages and gave up.
Maybe it was because I was using a phone instead of a headset and microphone. I'll have to experiment a bit more.
Meanwhile, I'll look forward to receiving the transcription as I think it would have been interesting.

I must admit I had a bit of a technical glitch because I pressed something at the beginning of the session which muted my microphone!!! I just logged out and then logged back in and that solved the problem....
Denise - if you want to have a test let's sort out a time and we can check you microphone settings? |

| Code: | | What's the subject for the next one on 6 Dec? | Carole, the next chat is Office Organising for VAs.
| Code: | | if you want to have a test let's sort out a time and we can check you microphone settings? | This is a great idea so that we can ensure that everyone will be able to listen in on the next chat and participate. I can assist also if anyone needs to check settings etc. _________________ Lyndsey Gilchrist

That's a good idea to have a test. I could hear the transcript OK so I thought it could have been something to do with the internet connection.
Just let me know when you're ready to do a test.

Shall we do a test @ 6pm Tuesday? If you haven't signed up you'll need to do so first at http://tinyurl.com/39abrt
(If you haven't already!)
Thanks!
C.

| I hope you dont mind me saying this but I was just wondering if its at all possible if the future whether the chats could be moved to later time ie 7pm or 7.15pm so that those of us in full time employment can take part. I know we ge sent a recording but it would be great to get involved in the live chat. :) |

Sure we'll do a poll - would 7pm suit people better?
