Sorry I'm sure I've seen a thread on here before with recommended suppliers but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone have any recommendation for price and quality? Would it be better for my logo designer to do the whole card or get the print shop to do? I've had a quote of 250 double sided cards for £14.99 + VAT.
Thanks! |

I used VistaPrint. I was loathe to try them, but the local printer I'd tried to work with just totally let me down and stopped communications and suddenly I was 3 days away from my first networking event and needed some! I was amazed - http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/401302_10150583786932755_591442754_10667366_1619934343_n.jpg - they were a LOT better than I was expecting (even if the "3-day postage" was extortionate - you can get it cheaper on a longer time scale!)
If you want to try them, I'll be very cheeky and put a referral link on here where (if you do buy from them), I get a £10 voucher: http://refer.vistaprint.com/go.axd?ref=PTIO1U ;)
The other company I've heard good things from is: Michael Goody at Colour Sells, http://www.coloursells.com/ Helen Stothard from iVA uses him and she says his cards are great quality and good value. :)
If I ever need to change my cards, I'll probably try him at some point. |

I ALWAYS use Michael Goody. Good prices, speedy delivery, superb quality, and he's approachable, friendly and very, very helpful. _________________ Carole Meyrick

Do you post your business cards to potential clients or just give them to people that you meet? _________________ http://www.transcriptioncity.co.uk |

I found VistaPrint good quality and reasonable cost, especially as they are always making offers. However leave plenty of time as postage is expensive for fast delivery. You can also save your designs and order matching sets of business cards, flyers, stationery etc. _________________ Regards

I do a bit of both Transcriptioncity - if I meet people, I'll tend to give them my card as it has a bit of blurb about what I do on it and helps them remember what I'm called. But I'll also occasionally post out a few business cards to clients or other contacts so that they can hand them out to people they know - it's a really cheap way of marketing! _________________ To support SVA please donate to: http://tinyurl.com/37urec |
