Just received an email about the pre-Conference dinner on night of 16th - anyone decided to attend?

I have just emailed Nicola to see whether she has a menu/costs etc before deciding.

As I haven't attend for a year or two, looking forward to catching up with 'old' faces and new.

Hi Dawn,

I'm going to be there the night before as I'm 'flying in' for the event and actually haven't got anywhere else to stay that night!!

This will be my first VA conference and I'm really looking forward to finally putting faces to all of the names :)

I hope you're not calling me old Dawn!!! Razz

But yes, I'll be there (M6 traffic permitting) along with Lisa Dunn of Hexagon VA (as long as she manages to put up with me for that long!).

I spoke to Carmen last week and she is hoping that we don't have to do any silly messing about pre-booking/pre-paying for the dinner and can just pay for our own food at the end. She's still confirming this with the venue though...

It's being held at the hotel the night before the conference.

I did email a few times asking for a menu and prices but not heard anything back as yet.

Yup - think it's quite informal and you just turn up if you're there from what I can gather - it's just the normal restaurant menu I think.
