Hi all
Has anyone tried approaching hotels who have business people staying to see if they would take your flyers/business cards, and if so, have you had any success?
Thanks
Jacqui :-) |

Jacqui - I tried that approach about 2 years ago. I spoke to the hotels and got the name of the person who dealt with the corporate side of the business and those that dealt with conference style bookings. I wrote to them and included a flyer detailing the 'mobile secretarial support' service. I followed it up one week later with a call to see if I could come and discuss it with them - sounds exciting - but unfortuantely no takers.
Most hotels offer a basic photo copying style service for events and while they were all interested in the 'seceretarial support & minute taking service' none of them wanted to move forward with it.
Now I may be wrong but I felt they were a little reserved and a bit precious about promoting a service that they weren't in control of.
Having said all that - give it a go - hotels in your area may be a bit more recepetive to it - it's worth a try. _________________ Heather Greig
