Hello

Allison Saberton of Office Ally has kindly created this customisable tri-fold brochure for you to download and use to promote your business.

It includes a little bit about what a virtual assistant is, what using an SVA approved virtual assistant means and most importantly why they should use you!!!

http://www.virtuallysorted.com/event_manager/files/sva/Final_Brochure.doc

Plus you can add your own contact details to the reverse and either print off yourself or give the file to a printer to print for you.

Please can you let us know any comments before I ask Sally to add it into the downloadable forms on the main site?

Thanks,
Caroline

Having started as a Scottish resource, the organisation soon grew to involve VAs from all over the UK. It is the only organisation for virtual assistants in the UK which provides free membership, a discussion forum and insists on minimum standards for its members.

Just a couple of little tweaks, otherise I think it's a brilliant job! Well done Ally! Very Happy

Good leaflet. Just one little eeny-weeny tweak - please could you make the distance between all the bullets and the text the same? And now I shall be known as a pesky perfectionist!

That's what we put it online for!

I'm sure Lyndsey will jump in here with lots of embarassing examples , but I REALLY can't proof anything I write myself - a fresh pair of eyes is so much better!!!

Anything else??? I was thinking that because this is for Approved VAs we will need to keep it secure for them only...not sure how to do that - any bright ideas? The most obvious one is to email it to everyone, and also have a link which requests it to be sent somewhere (and we can check who we're sending it to).

Does the blog have a password protected part of it? I know some blog software does (blogger for example). If so - it could go on a password protected part of the blog.

If there is enough call, I will be creating a secure area on the web site. However, at the moment I am trying to ensure that all Approved Members are displaying their special logo, etc.

I also need to do some paying work. Much as I enjoy messing around with web sites, it doesn't pay the bills. I'll add it to my To Do list.

I am really not sure about the blog having a secured area. I think it would be a better idea for it to be on the website somewhere under a heading such as approved members with a log-on where you can download this along with the free guides etc.

Sorry Sally, didn't mean to add to your workload. We're just exploring the least onerous way of having a secure means of storing all this free information.

Whilst the society is a free resource for VAs there has to be some way of restricting use of the documents etc to use by approved members only. Sticking it somewhere on the website where only members can get to it would seem to be the best solution.

Have you got any other ideas of ways we could do this?

Actually, Sally is my personal web guru - she's been brilliant with all the problems I've had with my website and displaying the logo - so thumbs up to Sal! Laughing

I really wouldn't want to add to her workload so Caroline and her web gurus sound like just the ticket..... 8)

Thank you very much for that glowing praise Michelle. One does one's best.

Back to business ...

Leaflet:

Benefits of Using - Your VA... achieve seamless perfection of your projects
Benefits of Using - Employees ... temps (lower case preferred)

It is the only organisation for virtual assistants in the UK etc... I think AUKVA might have something to say on the subject as they are even stricter than SVA.

Any chance we could get the email and web addresses centred and the underline removed?

Other than these minor tweaks it is looking good. Great work Allison.
