We have had another wave of snow overnight in the Midlands.
I was meant to go to a breakfast meeting this morning, but I have had to cancel. My driveway is iced up.
yesterday got our first decent dump of snow (2" at most). Boys delighted but somewhat crestfallen this morning when it had all gone!!
Same here. Monday there were 2 or maybe 3 inches. Tuesday morning my Stella and I stood by the window and she did a drum roll as I opened the curtains. The excitement was immense! Till we opened the blinds and saw the snow had gone!!
I think you're all making it up!! I've seen pictures on the news but I think they must have been taken in some other country!!
Bring it on! I could do with a day at home _________________ Sara

On Monday we had a light dusting of snow but today we've woken up to a couple of inches and still falling. Peterborough rarely gets snow and if you remember the snow that brought the M11 in Cambridgeshire to a standstill a few years ago Peterborough didn't see a snowflake/
My son is hoping school is closed today. If it is I'm hoping my husband can get home from work (he works nights and finishes at 9.30am) - if he can't we may just be glad that we bought a 4x4 with 4 wheel drive to tow our caravan so I'll be able to fetch him.
I now have a day job as a medical secretary at a local hospital and today is a busy day as it's student changeover day and induction to the department - it could be an interesting one. The other two secretaries live some distance away and one of them lives in a village that is likely to be snowed in.
What's the weather like where you are today? _________________ Regards

Isn't it amazing how our weather keeps a topic in a forum going!
The weather news from Wales is that we still have about 2" lying around despite some sunshine yesterday. As I look out of the office window across the valley, the hills opposite are visible through thin low cloud, the sky is grey and can best be described as "pregnant" with the next lot of snow. the wind has picked up, too.
I'm waiting.... _________________ Carole Meyrick
