Just had a letter from the ML people to say I need to forward payment immediately or I can't legally trade. I've phoned them to say that I actually sent a cheque with my original application and that they had promised to keep hold of it and only cash it at the appropriate time. Turns out they have lost it!! They haven't said it outright, they have said they will try and locate it and call me back!
As an aside I love it when you ring them and they answer the phone "Money Laundering" as if it is a service they provide!! _________________ Sara

Well done Sarah and I do agree some phone answering needs to be brushed up in the UK.
I hate when people don't have the manners to answer the phone appropriate or if I pick up the phone straight asking for xxxxx. The first question I am always ask is: "Who is calling". Just common sense - but for a lot of people not.
Anyway ML people, as I have worked in that environment too (bureaucratic) they will never admit they are wrong.
