Today is the first day of the Easter school holidays up here in Nanookland. I have already had a blazing row with my 16 year-old son which left me wanting to bash my head against a wall and heading for the garden with a headache. With less than half a day already gone, the phrase "Herod was right" springs to mind. Will I make it to the end of the holidays without having a cardiac or packing my bags? Hmm, not sure, but this doesn't bode well for the next couple of weeks. He's then back at school for a short while then off on study leave for a month

Anyone want a teenage son?

Hm.... You know that when he goes to anyone else's house, he is probably a complete angel, don't you? Could you agree to take on 2 stroppy teenagers for a week in order to palm off yours on someone else for a week?

Can you send him out to do hard physical labour? A garden which needs weed whacked or a rockery building? He might just be knackered enough to not argue too much?

Bless him, he's been great since I had my rant!! Revising hard even though it's the holidays and really knuckling down. Not been fighting with his brother either ... bliss.
