Hi All,
I previously posted this in the approved section, however would like to give you all an opportunity.
As most of you probably know before I went off on maternity leave I offered clients a call answering service, which Caroline has kindly assisted with while I have been on leave. I now need a more permanant solution and thought of pooling resources with other VAs who cannot offer the service full time themselves or wish to offer the service but don't want to be tied to their desk every day of the week.
I will be working fulltime on a Monday and Wednesday so would need some assistance for the rest of the week.
Anybody else interested in starting a pool? We could also use this solution for VAs who are going on holiday/out of the office and need thier calls answered or thier own clients calls managed.
Let me know either on here or by emailing me on lyndsey@diamondsecretarial.co.uk and we can start something up.
I don't mind managing all of this.

I have now been contacted by a couple of other VAs and we are now in the process of setting up this pool, and are hoping to go live in September, fingers crossed.
However, we are in need of some extra call handlers - are you interested in doing call answering on an ongoing basis? You will need to commit to certain days/hours and be available to standby/holidays at ad hoc times. We would also be able to add into the pool any call answering that you currently offer your clients or your own calls.
Please don't apply if you have small chattering children in the background or barking dogs or need to pop out regularly, unless there are times when the children are in nursery/school and you would be able to answer calls in a quiet background.
You will need to have a good telephone manner.. It is mainly taking messages but there are some clients that need more input i.e. booking appointments, getting specific information from callers etc.
We will give you access to our online rota, and you will need broadband (with a good router that can cope with VOIP) and a VoiP phone or VoiP adaptor and cordless dect phone with caller display function.
Let me know if you are interested and we can get cracking with this pool _________________ Lyndsey McKendry

Lyndsey - would love to offer my services but I'm still trying to get my head round the whole call answering service! I've got details on Call Partner and I just have to sit down and take in the info!
Maybe in the next month or so I'll be able to offer the service.

Hi Lyndsey
I would be interested in using your call team for a client who wants a dedicated line for a particular product, for the call to be answered and certain information gathered/possibly an appointment booked (using Google calendar?) Could you email me offline re your charges? Is it possible to divert calls to your team when I am not around to answer the calls myself?
Thanks

Hi Lyndsey
I am interested in doing this however, due to my current living arrangements, I probably could not start until May (when I am moving and will have my own office!).
I would be interested to hear about it.
I am only just setting up as a VA so call handling is not something ive got around to looking at yet. Could you let me know how it all works if I were to join your pool?
Thanks
Rachel |
