A client has asked me to type up a statement for him. It's been 18 years since I did accounts and I'm not sure if what he is telling me is correct and my memory is a v rusty but this doesn't sound right to me.

Inv 1 £1000.12 paid
Inv 2 £ 547.00
Credit note issued against invoice 1 £900.12 (£100 not refunded due to work completed)

30 day 60 day
-£900.12 £547.00

Now my client is saying that that means he (my client) needs to send his client a chq for £353.12.

Is he right, is just doesn't appear right to me but as I say it's been a long time since I did any accounts.

Sorted it out! YAY

They way he worded it was very odd, now I've sat down and drafted it all out I can see exactly why he owes the client!

Really should not have worked today as nothing seems to have come naturally!
