My name is Caroline Daniels, I am a Virtual Secretary. The virtual world is a new area for me to work in and I have spent hours researching a never ending topic!
I have been a VA for about a year, but on the quiet! I decided to work from home primarily so that I could be around for the school holidays. I had been a PA for about 25 years, working in the areas of Sales, Electronics, Engineering and Surveying and Compression Hosiery. I have also owned my own bureau involving typesetting, digital output and desktop publishing.
I am in the process of putting together my own website - but it takes time! I do digital transcription, all the usual secretarial jobs and even shorthand when required. The best thing that I have done during the last month is to sign up for Skype.
I look forward to hearing any advice from you. |
