The VA industry remains a relatively young phenomenon.  What is possible today, in 2014 would have seemed completely alien in 1984… Think of mobile phones – or “communicators” as they call them in Star Trek.  Or take a look at Whoopi Goldberg’s 1986 movie Jumpin’ Jack Flash where she speaks to a secret agent on a green screen without any sort of firewall!

So what are we going to see in 2044?  Will our children still be assistants?
